LA Unbound

We have 2 sets of Unbound choreographers, Maritza & Jesus and Alaina & Gina, presenting new pieces at the Pasadena Dance Festival’s Emerging Choreographers Showcase at The Lineage Performing Arts Center in Pasadena on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th. Auditions for our next show will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 4-7pm at Studio A Dance in Silverlake, CA. Performances will be on Saturday, June 22nd at Studio A’s intimate black box theatre.

All styles of dance and all levels of experience are welcome! If this is your first time auditioning for LA Unbound, you can learn about how our auditions work by reading this post. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up.

Start the New Year off right: join us for a fundraiser Dance Class Night on Sunday, January 20th from 6-9pm at Sophie Dance! Choose one, two, or all three classes taught by LA Unbound choreographers and enjoy complimentary wine and other beverages. Enjoy very happy holidays and we’ll see you next year for lots of dancing!

An enormous THANK YOU to all our absolutely incredible dancers, choreographers, crew, and volunteers who made THE BEST OF UNBOUND such a huge success! And of course, thank you also to our friends, family, coworkers, and everyone else who came from near and far to cheer us on from the audience! We had a fabulous time performing for you and are eternally grateful for your continued support!

We hope you can join us at the El Portal Theatre this weekend! Here is some additional information about the show:

• Performances are at 8pm Saturday and 2pm & 6pm Sunday and the show runs about 2.5 hours.
• There WILL BE TICKETS available at the door for $25.
• The box office opens 45 minutes prior to each show and the house will open for seating 30 minutes prior to each show.
• Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served.
• There are 2 burlesque dances, but the show is generally appropriate for all ages.
